Each spring, hotel companies roll out promotions with big rewards to get travelers into the summertime vacation mentality a bit early.
This year, three major hotel companies are offering deals that pay guests back with an easy $50 bonus, provided they meet the booking requirements and fill out the necessary paperwork:
INTERCONTINENTAL HOTELS GROUP
With the Travel Bonus promotion from Intercontinental, the hotel company that runs Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza, Candlewood Suites, and other brands, when you stay two consecutive weekday nights (Monday through Thursday) at any of its properties, you'll get a $50 prepaid MasterCard. Stays must take place by August 2, 2012, and a rebate form must be filled out in order to get the card. Guests can receive a maximum of $200 in cards via the promotion.
Stay three non-consecutive nights (i.e., three separate stays) at any Best Western property worldwide by June 3, and you'll get a $50 Best Western gift card as a reward. The card is valid for any purchase (including payment for lodging) at Best Western properties, and it must be used by November 1, 2012.
Book three or more nights at ChoiceHotels.com for a stay at any participating Sleep Inn location, and a rebate will reward you with a $50 Target gift card. Reservations must be made by May 10, and stays must take place by June 15.
