When you return home from a trip, finding a place to store your luggage can be a source of frustration. Many bags are too large to fit in a closet without taking up too much space. Claiming to solve this problem is Road Warrior, launching a series of bags that can collapse to 6 inches deep.
Call it "flat-pack luggage." You can shrink a bag, accordian-style, when you want to fit it under a bed or to wedge it into an over-stuffed closet. Each piece in the M-Series luggage has a foldable frame that is re-enforced with steel rods when you pack it to go. (See video of the so-called Micro Pop process, below.)
Hitting stores Monday June 4, the bags come with a 10-year warranty. They have stylish looks, in black, red, and blue. They also come with telescoping handles, plentiful pockets, and other perks. Heights range from 20 inches to 27 inches, depending on whether you need a carry-on or a checked bag. List prices from $200, roadwarriorluggage.com.
