You can save big on buzz–worthy off–Broadway shows thanks to two–for–one ticket deals on select shows now thru Sept. 30th.
Show options this year include Avenue Q (note: this show may feature puppets, but I assure you, it's NOT for youngsters), Silence! The Musical—a musical parody of Silence of the Lambs—and The Fantasticks, a Romeo and Juliet inspired production currently starring former teen idol Aaron Carter. Forbidden Broadway is also back this year, poking fun at Broadway hits like Porgy and Bess, Anything Goes, Death of a Salesman, and The Book of Mormon.
More family–friendly shows include The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and The Berenstain Bears Live!. Also available are discounted tickets for perennial favorites STOMP and The Blue Man Group.
To book tickets, go to the New York City tourism website, pick out your show, and enter the promotional code during checkout. A minimum of two tickets must be purchased. Check the official Off–Broadway Week website for any blackout dates.
