Charlie Trotter is one of the top chefs in the US. His 18-year-old namesake restaurant in Chicago has won countless accolades, including seven James Beard Foundation awards. He's the author of 11 cookbooks and the host of the award-winning PBS cooking series, The Kitchen Sessions with Charlie Trotter. In 2000, Chef Trotter opened Trotter's To Go, a take-out gourmet retail shop in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, and in 2004 he debuted "C," a fine-dining seafood restaurant at One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico. As if that weren't enough, he's also a tireless advocate for excellence in the culinary arts, as well as an active humanitarian.
