Ski season shows no sign of stopping at California's Mammoth Mountain, which has already been hit with a record snowfall of more than 664 inches and expects to stay open through July 4. Its Endless Winter package offers a one-night stay at Mammoth Mountain Inn, directly across from the main lodge and ski area, and a lift ticket for $82 per person per night. Upgrade to Tamarack Lodge and Resort for an extra $24 per person; to the Village at Mammoth for an extra $29 per person or to the Juniper Springs Resort for $83 per person.

Getting to Mammoth Mountain: The closest airport is in Reno, Nevada, nearly a three-hour drive along scenic Highway 395. The lowest fares we've found for round-trip flights to Reno in early June are: $249 (multiple carriers) from Phoenix; $364 (United) from Chicago; $375 (United) from Miami; $422 (America West) from New York City.

An economy car rental starts at $25 per day from the Reno airport (Dollar).
