The wellness package includes a six-night stay (Sunday to Friday) at the new Island Experience lodge on a private beach with a pier, surrounded by rainforests. Each of the lodge's nine rooms has a private veranda overlooking the ocean.

The program combines nutritious, vegetarian meals--often enjoyed outdoors--with rain forest hikes, snorkeling, kayaking, painting and samba or capoeira classes, and three nights of cultural entertainment. In total, there are 7 to 12 outdoor yoga classes; 45 hours of supervised activities; and a one-hour full-body massage daily.

Participants are split into different groups based on fitness level, and range in age from teens to 50s. In keeping with the program's philosophy, Island Experience requests no smoking and no drinking alcohol or caffeine during the program.
