The Grand Slam package includes a five-night stay in a two-bedroom condo with a full kitchen in Teton Village and four days of skiing. Two Jackson Hole Mountain Resort lift tickets are included for a day of freeskiing the resort's 4,139-foot vertical runs and another day of backcountry skiing with a guide. A third day is set aside for helicopter skiing the Snake River Range with a guide (at least six runs, if weather cooperates) and a fourth for cat skiing the powder just out of bounds at nearby Grand Targhee Resort.

Guides will provide a quick review of mountain safety and avalanche training, and will divide up skiers by ability level, although you should be at least an intermediate skier if booking this trip.

Note that Jackson Hole's snow conditions can vary greatly in early December, the first of the value seasons; you'll be safer booking a trip for January or late March. Before you go, check BudgetTravelOnline.com for local weather conditions.

Getting There: The closest airport is in Jackson, and the lowest round-trip airfares we've found for early December are: $337 from Washington, D.C.; $370 from Houston; $405 from Milwaukee; $411 from New York City; and $456 from Los Angeles, all on Delta. It's about a 30-minute drive from the airport to Teton Village. A taxi ride costs about $45, and the Alltrans Shuttle is $21 per person.
