The Disney Wonder, which sleeps 2,700 passengers, sets sail from Port Canaveral, Fla., about 45 miles from Orlando. It stops at Nassau, Bahamas, and at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, where The Flying Dutchman ship--used in the film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest--is docked. The lowest rate is based on three nights in an inside stateroom. The cruise ship comes with three pools, a spa, and a fitness center, and it hosts Broadway-style shows. For adults, there's a nightclub; for kids, there are costumed Disney characters aboard.

The Real Deal: Seven-night land and sea vacation from $799 per person

When: Jan. 4-Mar. 4, 2007

Details: Based on double occupancy. All meals and soft drinks aboard the cruise are included, as are hotel taxes. Additional port taxes and fees are about $34 per person.

The package offers a choice of either a three-night cruise and four nights at Walt Disney World in Orlando or a four-night cruise and three nights at Disney World. The Disney Wonder departs from Port Canaveral and stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay; accommodations are an inside stateroom. Hotel accommodations will be at a Disney resort such as Port Orleans or Caribbean Beach.

Note that both packages offer family-friendly low rates for adding a third, fourth, or fifth person to the double room; rates vary based on ages, dates of travel, and the chosen itinerary.
