Why It's a Deal: Booking this package will save from $36 to $300 per person, depending on when you go. Rooms at the Renaissance Pere Marquette start at $129 and can reach over $260 per night on high-demand days. And the lowest fare we've found for round-trip travel between New York and New Orleans in late March is $218 per person (JetBlue).

Trip Details: This package includes round-trip airfare on JetBlue and a two-night stay at the renovated 272-room Renaissance Pere Marquette. This nonsmoking hotel is merely a few blocks from Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. Rooms have residential-size bathrooms with marble floors. Add two nights for $180.
