Why It's a Deal: Booking this $495 per night package will save about $90 per night off winter and summer rack rates. The package also includes lift tickets for two days, which cost $164 per person, and airport transfers.

Getting There: The lowest round-trip fares we found for Aspen in late March are $459 from Los Angeles (United), $669 from Atlanta (Delta), $718 from New York City (United), and $722 from Chicago (United).

Trip Details: This package includes a three-night stay in a 525-square foot room at Hotel Jerome, an 1889 hotel that's been recently renovated yet maintains the brocade wallpaper and other distinctive touches of years past. The 92-room hotel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World program and includes twice-daily maid service. The hotel is smack in the middle of Aspen's lively downtown. Ski passes for Aspen Mountain for two days for two people  are included. The mountain offers excellent intermediate to expert terrain that includes steep and bump runs. A tip: You'll find groomed, intermediate cruising runs under the Ruthie's and Ajax Express lifts.

March offers average temperatures in the mid-40s Fahrenheit in Aspen and in the mid-20s Fahrenheit on the mountaintops. Before you go, check the weather forecast here and the local time here. For more information on Aspen's skiing options, visit this tourism site.
