An air/hotel package that includes walks among the ancient Incan ruins and guided tours of historical sites of Machu Picchu, Cuzco, and Sacred Valley.
Monday, January 7, 2008

A boat tour of Lake Titicaca, Latin America's largest and highest-elevation navigable lake, is your next stop. You'll visit islands where indigenous people craft textiles.

Moving on, you'll visit the burial towers built by a tribe that predated the Incas, and then fly back to Lima. You'll spend your final two nights of your trip at the 50-room Posada del Inca San Isidro. You'll take a guided tour of the city, which was founded in 1535 and contains many beautiful parks, residences, and museums.

To enjoy this trip, you need to be up for the physical challenge of enduring high altitudes (up to 14,000 feet above sea level). Massive headaches may befall some travelers. If you have any medical or respiratory problems, consult with a doctor before you book this trip.
