The Go Ahead staff will meet you upon your arrival in Barcelona. Once you settle into the four-star Hotel Catalonia Berna, you'll join the rest of your travel group for a dinner. Built in 1864, the 124-room hotel--a short walk away from Plaça Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia--doubles as a historical monument.
After two nights in Barcelona, you're off to Zaragoza, once the capital of the ancient civilization of Aragon. You'll stop by the mountainside town of Montserrat on your way. Both places are famous pilgrimage sites. You'll have dinner and spend the night at the Hotel Catalonia Zaragoza Plaza, a five-minute walk from the Basilica del Pilar.
The following two nights you'll be staying in San Sebastián at the 163-room Hotel Silken Amara Plaza, located near major attractions and a five-minute walk to the beach. On your way to San Sebastián, you'll tour the Basque region, including a visit to Pamplona, famous for the running of the bulls festivities. While in San Sebastián, you'll take a two-hour walking tour of the seaside town, including a climb up Monte Urgull; one dinner is also included.
