The Fine Print Hotel taxes, breakfast daily, and fuel surcharges (which can easily top $150) are included. Additional airport taxes and fees are $81 per person. Based on double occupancy; single supplement $199 (for Villa Glori Hotel, and possibly less or more for stays at the Grand Hotel Beverly Hills, depending on the time of year). There's no option to extend your stay. Airport transfers are not included; you can purchase transfers for $50 per person prior to departure. If your flight is canceled between November 13 and April 5, you may experience a multiday delay because Eurofly will only place you on the next Eurofly plane, and Eurofly planes depart New York City only on Fridays and Sundays. Why It's a Deal The lowest round-trip, multicity fare we found on Kayak.com for travel in late October was a direct flight on Eurofly for $698 (for airfare alone) between New York City and Rome. The next cheapest airfare, also given a Sunday night departure, and a return five days later, was a multi-stop flight for $1,320 (on Swiss Air). In comparison, Eurofly's vacation package provides the round-trip airfare as well as the four-night stay for $680, which is less than Eurofly's ticket for the round-trip flight alone.

Trip Details Two bits of news: Discount airline Eurofly has begun to fly out of New York City year-round, rather than seasonally, and it has begun to offer U.S. citizens vacation packages. The starting price is for Eurofly's vacation package titled Romancing Rome, with stays at the Villa Glori Hotel in Rome. (See the TripAdvisor review.) Add about $100 more for stays at the Grand Hotel Beverly Hills in Rome.
