Why It's a Deal In a recent Kayak search, we found a $691 multicity fare (Philadelphia–Rome, Venice–Philadelphia) for travel in late February (multiple airlines). The train ticket would cost about $185 per person. So booking independently, you would expect to pay $876 for transportation.
