'Hood A posh corner of the 8th arrondissement, not far from the Champs-Élysées and the upscale boutiques along the rue du Faubourg St.-Honoré. The hotel has access to transportation: There are six Métro lines within walking distance.
The Gist A small hotel with a pretty interior garden where you can take your breakfast ($14.75) before setting out for some serious retail warfare. The location and the helpful staff have earned Hôtel d'Albion tons of positive online reviews. The small rooms and thin walls are drawbacks, but it's an inexpensive stay for those who want to be both central and connected (good subway access, free Wi-Fi).
