’Hood In the heart of the attractions area, named for its proximity to area theme parks; Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, and SeaWorld are all less than five miles away. The resort “village” also houses more than 230,000 square feet of premium factory-outlet shops.

The Vibe Heavy on island flair, the complex aims to be a family destination unto itself, with a pirate-themed pool (complete with water slide, hot tubs, and shooting water cannons) and a Polynesian-themed tiki bar. As a result, the place is popular with families and groups, including conferences.

Rooms Ranging from one- to four-bedrooms, the condo suites have unassuming bisque walls and cherrywood and blond accents. Kitchens are fully stocked and equipped with dishwashers (there are even washer-dryers); living rooms have plasma TVs and sleeper sofas; and master baths feature oversized whirlpool tubs and walk-in showers. Tropically inspired fabric designs and ceiling fans add a light Caribbean flavor.

Plus A full-service spa with massage suites for couples and a hair and nail salon. The “pirate ship” with two slides anchored in the free-form pool is adjacent to a small pond, a sundeck, and a poolside tiki bar with waiter service. Frankie Farrell’s Irish Pub serves up food and libations, plus live entertainment and karaoke.
