About this Hotel
Price From $136
'Hood St. Pancras, near two rail stations: St. Pancras, the towering, neo-Gothic international hub that runs Eurostar trains to Paris, Brussels, and beyond, and King's Cross, where you can catch the tube to Madame Tussauds, the British Museum, and the restaurants of the West End district, less than 10 minutes away.
The Vibe The Megaro strives for a contemporary, minimalist design throughout. A long lobby bar, with indigo cube stools circling glass tables, hosts a hip crowd, as does a 38-seat restaurant that serves modern English and French cuisine.
Rooms Each of the 49 brightly painted rooms has large windows, a mini fridge, and tub showers (a rare fixture in London properties).
Plus Corner rooms have nice views of King's Cross railway station, where Harry Potter leaves for Hogwarts.
Minus Some of the furnishings, while new and modernist, are flimsy.
Details Doubles from $136 (£85).
