'Hood The diverse, culturally vibrant Mission serves up better burritos and more hipsters than any other part of San Francisco. The inn is in the middle of a mostly residential block surrounded by restaurants and plenty of places to quench a late-night thirst.
The Vibe This lavish Italianate Victorian, dating back to 1872, has an English garden and a stunning interior with fireplaces and high ceilings.
Rooms Feather beds and fresh flowers are standard, but each room's shape, color and furnishings are unique. Less-expensive rooms share a bath, and larger rooms include a Jacuzzi tub. For a little more privacy, the inn offers an adjacent three-room garden cottage with kitchen.
