The Gist A compound of eight restored town houses that date back to the 1700s, Place d'Armes offers a total of 84 rooms with exposed-brick walls and French country decor. The six street-facing rooms have balconies complete with hanging plants and views of horse-drawn carriages passing by. A courtyard with a pool adds to the hotel's appeal.
