'Hood Notting Hill, fashion central for London's well-heeled. The hotel is on a quiet block that's less than 10 minutes on foot from a shady Edwardian square and stylish boutiques.

The Vibe East Asia comes to a British town house: A bronze Buddha watches over reception, the lobby has an ornately carved temple arch and Indonesian pilasters, and the hallways are decorated with framed clothing from Malaysia.

Rooms Elegant and sleek, the 50 rooms have beautiful, four-poster beds made of cherry oak. Bathrooms have polished limestone floors and huge mirrors.
