The Gist The newly renovated Stanford Court wins raves from online reviewers for its 367 modern and spacious rooms, city and bay views (and views of the Transamerica Pyramid), and proximity to marquee attractions like the Ferry Building—a foodie haven known for artisanal food stalls and a twice-weekly farmer's market. Staff service is uneven, but there are luxury hotel perks like a new fitness center and a complimentary first-come, first-served car service.
