About this Hotel

Price From $155

'Hood West End, a tony area with boutiques and high-end restaurants. The hotel is a short walk from Vanderbilt University and Centennial Park, and a five-minute drive to downtown's attractions and the honky-tonks on Broadway.

The Vibe A sophisticated sense of style paired with an environmental conscience. Eye-catching local art adorns the lobby, which hosts a nightly wine reception amid the communal tables, beanbag chairs, and leather couches. Music Row's power players wheel and deal in the adjacent 1808 Grille, which is bedecked with reclaimed-wood furnishings. The Hutton is full of such ecofriendly details, including bamboo flooring and a heat-absorbing roof.

Rooms Red pendant lamps and patterned bedspreads complement a soothing beige-brown color palette. Each of the 248 rooms has a plush pillow-top bed, and many come with a cozy reading nook with a comfy armchair and an ottoman. Granite bathrooms feature spacious rain showers and mod sinks constructed from a sheet of concave glass.

Plus A hybrid car serves as a complimentary shuttle to anywhere within a three-mile radius.

Minus Guests have the option of city- or campus-facing rooms, but unless you're on one of the top floors, you'll look out at nothing more than an abandoned lot next door.
