Each of the six rooms in this 2-year-old Clerkenwell inn has a different local-landmark theme: The Charterhouse, named for a 14th-century monastery, has ironwork windows and a purple-velvet chaise; the bed in St. Paul's swaps a headboard for a three-foot-by-five-foot photograph of the city's iconic cathedral. You don't even have to cross the street to get a real taste of history—the restored Victorian pub downstairs has been serving pewter tankards of ale to butchers from the nearby Smithfield meat market for 112 years.
