Hotel Beverly Terrace

About this Hotel

Price From $139

'Hood On the dividing line between Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, within walking distance of Rodeo Drive and the Sunset Strip.

The Vibe A worldly clientele traveling for business, plus a few weekenders, makes this hotel a quiet spot in the middle of two areas known for excess. Hang around by the pool (in the center of the hotel, Melrose Place–style) for a beer with other guests.

Rooms The 39 rooms at this boutique property are in the European tradition—that is, they are tiny. But cheerful aesthetics, like Asian-inspired paintings and retro bedspreads, make up for it.

Plus You can eat the included breakfast in the poolside garden (a lovely way to start the day), and the hotel's Italian restaurant, Amici, is a neighborhood favorite.

Minus The thin walls, especially in rooms facing the pool, don't allow for much privacy.

Free Wi-Fi? Yes.

Credit Cards Accepted AmEx, Mastercard, Visa.

Details Doubles from $139, including breakfast.
