Owner Nick Douglas has put a premium on style: The common areas are all leather club chairs and carefully chosen accents, like a wooden Buddha on a shelf and a model sailboat over the mantel. Meanwhile, the 20 guest rooms have beds dressed in Egyptian-cotton sheets, and choosy patrons can even decide between two color palettes: pale hues in the Glam rooms or darker tones in those dubbed City.
