Why It’s a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest multi-city airfare from San Diego to Kahului to Kailua-Kona and back to San Diego starts from $499 with taxes for travel in late January (United). Add to that $279 per person, including tax, for three nights at Aston Maui Lu and $270 for three nights at Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, and you’d be paying $1,048 for just the airfare and accommodations. For $109 less than that, this package covers the flight, six nights’ hotel accommodations, all taxes and fees, and you have the added convenience of all-in-one booking.

More Additional excursions/activities are available for a fee, including a full-day scenic tour to the summit of Maui’s 10,023-foot Haleakala for $85 per person, and a full-day circle tour of the Big Island for $79 per person. Hotel upgrades are available from $60 per person.
