Why It's a Deal A recent Kayak found that airfare from Los Angeles to Ho Chi Minh City, with a return flight from Hanoi, starts at $1,086 in mid-March (Vietnam Airlines or Korean Air). Three nights at the New World Saigon Hotel starts at $238 per person, and three nights at the Hotel Nikko Hanoi starts at $234 per person. Together you'd be paying $1,558 just for international airfare and accommodation. For $341 more, this travel package includes international flights and six nights in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, plus a domestic flight between the two cities, daily breakfast, and a complete touring package including transportation and entrance fees.
