Why It's a Deal A recent Kayak search shows the lowest round-trip multicity airfare between New York City, San Jose, and Liberia starts at $419 in early September (American Airlines). Add to that $50 per person without taxes for one night at the Casa Conde Apartotel & Suites; $120 per person including taxes for two nights at the Lomos del Volcán Hotel, and $120 per person without taxes for three nights at the Sol Samara Hotel, and you're already spending $709 on airfare and accommodations alone. A seven-day SUV rental will cost you about $404 including taxes, bringing your total to $1,113 without this package. For $244 less, this travel package gives you aifare, the seven-day manual SUV rental with unlimited mileage, six nights in three Costa Rican cities, daily breakfast, and taxes and fees (taking into account the additional $140 car rental fees).

More Upgrade your vehicle to an intermediate automatic SUV for from $69 more per couple, a compact SUV for from $73 more per couple, or a standard automatic SUV for from $207 more per couple. You can also add a GPS to your car rental for $9 more per day (or $63 more per rental).
