Why It’s a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare between San Francisco and Beijing starts from $836 with taxes for travel in mid-November (Air Canada). Add to that $476 per person, including taxes and fees, for six nights at the Hua Bin International Hotel in Beijing, and your total for airfare and accommodations alone is $1,312 when booked separately. For $434 less, China Spree’s Timeless Beijing package covers the international flight and six nights’ hotel—plus some meals, three days of guided sightseeing, round-trip airport-hotel transfers, and all hotel taxes and fees.
More You can add an optional day excursion featuring visits to the Lama Temple, Panda Pavilion at Beijing Zoo, Beihai Park, and a Peking duck dinner with a performance show ($80 per person, including lunch and dinner). Additional nights are not available as travelers would lose the reduced group airfare, making the package no longer a deal. Land-only package starts from $299 per person for six nights.
