Why It’s a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest airfare from Miami to Rio de Janeiro starts from $1,044 with taxes for travel in mid-November (Copa Airlines). Add to that $470 per person, including tax, for five nights at Windsor Palace Hotel, and you’d be paying $1,514 for airfare and accommodations alone. For $81 less than that, this package covers the flight, five nights’ accommodations, a half-day tour, all transfers, and all taxes and fees.
