Why It’s a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare between San Francisco and Beijing starts from $941 with taxes for travel in mid-January (Air China). Add to that $166 per person, including taxes and fees, for three nights at the Jade Palace Hotel; and $76 per person, including taxes and fees, for four nights at the Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Zhabei, and your total for airfare and accommodations alone is $1,183 when booked separately. For $30 less than airfare and accommodations, this package covers the international flight, seven nights’ accommodations, twelve meals, tours and the services of a guide throughout the trip, all transfers, and all taxes and fees.
More Extend your stay at the Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Zhabei for, on average, $35 per person per night, based on double occupancy. Upgrades are available at both hotels.
