Why It's a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare from Miami to San Jose starts from $409 with taxes for travel in mid-October (American). Add to that $170 per person, including tax, for three nights at the Cloud Forest Lodge, and you'd be paying $579 for just the airfare and accommodations.
