Why It’s a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip multi-city airfare from L.A. to Dubai and Bangkok starts from $1,420 with taxes for travel in mid-May (Emirates). Add to that $417 per person, including tax, for three nights at Hyatt Regency Dubai and $288 per person for three nights at Dusit Thani Bangkok, and you’d be paying $2,125 for just the airfare and accommodations. For $136 less than that, this package covers the flight; six nights’ hotel accommodations; daily breakfast; all ground transportation, including round-trip airport transfers and sightseeing with the services of an English-speaking guide; and all taxes and fees.

More Optional excursion packages are available in both cities for a fee, including, in Dubai, a dinner cruise aboard a dhow, a desert safari tour and a tour of the modern city, from $179; and, in Bangkok, a tour of the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, an excursion to Thonburi Klongs, the Royal Barge Museum and Wat Arun, and a show at the Ratchada Grand Theatre, from $159 (tours can be priced individually, as well).
