Why It's a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare from L.A. to Fiji starts from $1,283 with taxes for travel in mid-November (Air Pacific). Add to that $840 per person, including tax, for seven nights at Sonaisali Island Resort, and you'd be paying $2,123 for just the airfare and accommodations. For $615 less than that, this package covers the flight; seven nights' hotel accommodations; daily breakfast; a complimentary welcome cocktail; jungle cruise; Monday night cocktail party; scuba pool instruction; round-trip airport transfers; and all taxes and fees.
More Additional excursions/activities are available for a fee, including a daylong catamaran cruise out to exclusive Castaway Island for $124 per person, and a Sigatoka River safari that visits a local village for traditional food and dancing for $171 per person.
