Why It's a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare from New York to Delhi starts from $1,256 with taxes for travel in late August (United). Add to that $202 per person, including tax, for two nights at Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri, $154 per person for one night at Hotel Clarks Shiraz and $231 for two nights at Ramada Jaipur, and you’d be paying $1,843 for just the airfare and accommodations.
