Why It's a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare from New York to New Delhi starts from $1,001 with taxes for travel in mid-Ocbober (Kuwait Airways). Add to that $702 per person, including tax, for three nights at Shangri-La's Eros Hotel; $161 per person for two nights at Hotel Clarks Shiraz; and $161 for two nights at Ramada Jaipur, and you'd be paying $2,025 for just the airfare and accommodations. For $215 less than that, this package covers the flight, seven nights' hotel accommodations, sightseeing ground transportation, the services of an English-speaking tour director, daily breakfast, one dinner, and all taxes and fees.
More Additional excursions/activities are available for a fee, including a presell discounted package with tours to Agra Fort, It-mad-ud-Daulan, Sikandra, and a half-day tour of Jaipur, all for $59 per person. Adventurous travelers may add a four-night extension to Nepal for $899 per person. No room upgrades available.
