Why It's a Deal A recent Kayak search for round-trip airfare from NYC to Tel Aviv in early March returned a lowest fair of $659 (Iberia). A standard, double room at the Mount Zion Hotel at this time costs about $267 per night, at the Daniel Dead Sea costs about $215 per night, while rooms at the Ron Beach Hotel go for about $160 per night and rooms at the Dan Panorama go for about $236. So, booking separately, you could expect to pay about $1,697 per person.
