Why It's a Deal According to a recent Kayak search, round-trip air between New York City and Nairobi starts at $985 in mid-November (Brussels Airlines). Add to that $312 per person for two nights at the Jacaranda Hotel, $73 per person for one night at the Kigio Wildlife Lodge, and $243 per person for two nights at the Keekorok Lodge, and you're looking at a minimum of $1,613 per person just for accommodation and airfare. For $616 more, this travel package gets you the international airfare, five nights' accommodation, plus airport transfers, most meals, and a complete touring itinerary including transportation, safaris, and entrance fees.
