Why It’s a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare between New York City and Madrid starts from $871 with taxes for travel in early September (Air Canada). Add to that $193 per person, including tax, for four nights at Husa Chamartín Hotel, and you’d be paying $1,064 for just the airfare and accommodations. For just $112 more than that, this package covers the flight, four nights’ accommodations, daily breakfasts, and all taxes and fees.
