Why It’s a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare from Oakland to Maui starts from $984 with taxes for travel in mid-November (Hawaiian). Add to that $211 per person including tax for three nights at Lahaina Shores Beach Resort, and you’d be paying $1,195 for just the airfare and accommodations. For $514 less than that, this package covers the flight and three nights’ accommodations, plus round-trip airport transfers and all taxes and fees.
