The Real Deal This guided trip includes one night at La Castellana Hotel in Lima; a local flight from Lima to Cuzco on LAN airlines; two nights’ simple hotel accommodations in Cuzco and one night in Ollantaytambo; three nights in two-person tents; three breakfasts, three lunches, and three dinners while camping; transportation by train and van; guided tours of the Sacred Valley, Inca trail, and Machu Picchu; the services of an experienced English-speaking group leader and local guides; for $1,149 per person—including all taxes and fees.

The Fine Print Airfare is not included. Group size is an average of 12 participants per group; maximum of 16. Based on double occupancy; solo travelers have the option of being paired up with someone of the same sex or paying a $99 single room supplement. Arrival transfer is $15 per person based on two or more passengers; add $10 for a solo passenger. Departure tax is an additional $32 for Lima. More Optional activities include a tour of Lima ($28 per person), a guided tour of Cusco ruins on horseback ($40 per person), and a visit to the Inca Museum in Cusco ($3.5 per person). Pre-tour nights at La Castellana Hotel in Lima are $60 per room per night in a double room; deduct $10 for a single room. Post-tour nights at Prisma Hotel in Cusco are $40 per room per night for a double; deduct $5 for a single room.
