Why It's a Real Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest multicity airfare from New York, arriving in Rome and departing from Venice, starts from $877 per person in November (Continental). Add to that $270 per person, including taxes, for two nights at the Villa Vecchia Hotel in Rome; $173 per person, including taxes, for four nights at the Fattoria Degli Usignoli estate in Tuscany; and $105 per person, including taxes, for two nights at the the Park Hotel Bolognese in Treviso, and you'd be spending $1,425 for air and accommodations alone. For $226 less, this package gives you airfare, eight nights in four-star accommodations, and a rental car.
