Why It’s a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare from Los Angeles to Bangkok starts from $976 with taxes for travel in early April (Air China). Add to that $137 per person including tax for three nights at Century Park Hotel, $33 for one night at Topland Hotel, $33 for one night at Wienglakor Hotel, $84 for two nights at Phowadol Resort & Spa, and $205 for three nights at Centara Duangtawan Hotel, and you’d be paying $1,468 for just the airfare and accommodations. For just $137 more than that, this package covers the flight and 10 nights’ hotel accommodations, plus daily breakfast and a dinner, all ground transfers including sightseeing per itinerary in a modern air-conditioned motor coach, the services of an English-speaking tour guide, and all taxes and fees.
More Additional excursions/activities are available for a fee, including a Kantoke Dinner featuring local specialties and a performance of traditional songs and dances by locals from $30 per person, and a boat trip down the Mae Kok River from $35 per person. Adventurous travelers may opt to extend their trip with a three-day add-on to either Phuket Island or Angkor Wat, Cambodia, for about $600 per person.
