Maggie, a "priceless" sweet pea, blends right in with her farm stand costume. Her owners said they go to lots of farmers markets, and thus the idea was born. Last year, Maggie was a "lobster bake," but her vegan owners joked that didn't seem quite right for their lifestyle, so they made the switch to veggies.

Gus even has his own baseball card! His Yankees costume is an elaborate joke: "Derek Jeter's Last One-Night Stand," inspired by the rumor that the newly retired shortstop gives baskets full of memorabilia to all of his, ahem, conquests. After reading that gossip, Gus's owner said, "I thought, 'I have to do it.'"

Beanie, Meteor, and Fifi Gigi's owner dressed the trio as a tribute to Robin Williams: Mork ("He'll always be Mork to me," she said), Comic Relief Robin, and Mrs. Doubtfire.
