One of the great things about living in Arkansas is you can always find a new favorite outdoor spot. I recently paid my first visit to Cameron Bluff on Mount Magazine. Such a beautiful and well-kept overlook.

Mount Magazine State Park near Havana, Arkansas, is home to the highest peak in the state. Make a note to visit the mountain lodge—you'll be glad you did!

The Ozark Mountains near Jasper, Arkansas, are gorgeous, especially in the fall. The view from Buffalo River National Park is spectacular.

Mount Nebo State Park is located in, Dardanelle, Arkansas. Be prepared for a unique drive up the mountain, as it has several hairpin curves. Once you've made it to the top, you'll be amazed at the incredible view—and will likely see deer roaming the area.
