Boston-based David Cicconi shot our cover at the Club Bali Hai bungalows along Cook's Bay on the French Polynesian island of Moorea. "As I was standing at the end of a pier, the water was so clear, I could see a giant tortoise," he says. "I never have time to swim on shoots, but I just had to jump in.
