We checked in with the pros at Travelocity to try to see where the most affordable hotspots are nationwide. Genevieve Shaw Brown pulled some numbers for us, comparing average nightly rates for every hotel purchased on Travelocity with a check-in date between July 2–5 this year compared with the same dates in 2008.
