Monopoly Wants Your Vote

April 28, 2006

The travel blog gridskipper.com tipped us off to a fun contest from Hasbro, makers of the classic board game Monopoly. Through May 12, you can vote daily for one of three landmarks in 22 major U.S. cities--New York's Times Square, Central Park or Broadway; Seattle's Puget Sound, Pioneer Square, or Pike Place Market; Miami's South Beach, Little Havana, or Coconut Grove; and so on. The attractions with the highest votes will get prime placement (and the steepest rents) in Monopoly's "Here and Now Edition," its latest spin-off hitting stores this summer (Monopolyhn.hasbro.com).
